Strict adherence to CalOPPA

CalOPPA came into law in 2004 and covers operators of commercial websites that collect personal data. The law set a precedent as it requires website operators to post a privacy policy on their website stating exactly the information being collected and with whom it is being shared, as well as how it is being used and what for. The law’s reach has now stretched well beyond the Californian borders and is followed by nearly all countries around the world.

Because we want to establish a trusting relationship with our users, we agree to include the following clauses to our privacy policy:

• How personal data are collected
• With whom (third-parties) we share personal data
• How users can control personal data we hold about them and request changes
• How users can send opt-out request
• The effective date of our legal agreement
